Proverbs 3:5-6
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
In all your ways, recognize, and acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths.
This is a passage that encourages us to have faith in God and not in our own thinking or reasoning. People who reason out everything have a hard time with faith, and without faith it is impossible to please God. (See Hebrews 11:6)
